An easy but powerful way to live is when you wake up, put all your effort, all your energy into just being yourself. And you will be the greatest person you can be just by following this concept.

Your Greatest You

Most of us think that when we wake up we’re supposed to try to be something or somebody. As kids, we can remember the moments when we woke up we’d be in a rush to go to school or a church or some sort of societal establishment. No one told us that we could just wake up and be ourselves, and in fact, that might be the best decision we could make.

To reach full potential at anything, including being yourself, it’s best to do it first thing in the morning, before anything else enters your mind; as this is the time when your energy is at its peak.

This is especially true for athletes, who need all the energy they can get to perform at their best. Baseball players, for example, have long been known to take batting practice early in the morning.

But this isn’t just limited to sports. Musicians, writers, and other artists also find that they work best in the morning. This is an age-old practice, and for good reason: it works.

During your mastery and exercising of various techniques, honesty, focus, concentration, imagination, and visualization will be your best friends, as they will propel you to greater heights in a short amount of time. You must be honest with where you are at while using your focus, concentration, imagination, and visualization to improve and move forward.

The longer you can maintain these powerful techniques and states of being, the more your practice becomes muscle memory. Before long, like walking up the stairs without looking, you wouldn’t even have to think about it anymore because it will naturally flow through you. To visualize the desired outcome even though you haven’t achieved it yet isn’t being dishonest, it’s being honest. If you can imagine something, it can be a reality; or else you wouldn’t be able to imagine it. This strong focus on the desired outcome in your mind sets the energy in motion to achieve it.

The only way you can tell if you’re getting better is by an honest evaluation of your skillset, with a focus on continual growth. If you’re honest with where you are at and constantly set your sights on new levels to reach, your potential is limitless.

There are many benefits to be gained from creating a morning ritual. When you have a routine that you adhere to every day, it helps to set the tone for your day and allows you to focus on the tasks at hand. It also helps to establish good habits so that you start your day off on the right foot.
