Thanksgiving Recipe: Quick and Easy Mexican Stuffing Recipe
This year, try something different for your Thanksgiving recipe and give your stuffing a Mexican twist! This quick and easy recipe is perfect for beginners, and can be made in under an hour. Plus, it only requires a few simple ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry.
To make this Mexican stuffing recipe, you’ll need:
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 1 can of corn
- 1 package of taco seasoning
- 6 cups of dry bread cubes
Start by browning the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Once it’s cooked through, add the onions and bell peppers and cook for 5 minutes, until softened. Then, add the tomatoes, corn, and taco seasoning, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Finally, add the bread cubes and stir until they’re evenly coated with the beef and vegetable mixture. Then, transfer the stuffing to a baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
